DGE will adapt both fiction and non-fiction books into screenplays, which typically entails reading the book and consulting with the author; making creative choices to pick out the primary plot threads that will tell a compelling (filmic) story, whilst capturing the essence of the book and its characters.  As a result, the script is written as faithfully as possible to the source material, and yet also suited to the conventions and length of a movie.
